The Cord is back to a 2 day event with the headquarters at the Gooderham community centre. Day 1 (Saturday) will start and finish at the Sedgwicks gravel pit off County Rd. 1 south of Gelert (directions below). Day 2 (Sunday) will start and finish as usual at Gooderham. There will be no impound due to the two start locations. This year’s event will include many new enduro sections and some of the tried and true classics like Greens Mountain and the Tunnel of Love.
The Cord has a bit of everything for riders and their friends and family. If you’re an enduro racer you know the long tradition and history of the Cord. If you are new to racing there is a shortened course which any beginner will find extremely challenging. If you just want to ride for fun there is the Ralley Connex trail ride which stops at some of the test sections. Or if you just want to watch the action there will be maps available at Gooderham with directions to spectator points where you can cheer on the riders and snap some photos.
Come on up to the Highlands and enjoy the fall colours and atmosphere of the the 62nd Corduroy Enduro®.
